Inspiring Stories, Exceptional Times
Hosted by Rabbi Gary Robuck

Climb on board with Rabbi Jeff Glickman and his wife Mindy as they describe “Tour to the Wonderful”, their fascinating 20,000 klm. caravan odyssey.  Find out what they learned when reaching out to Jews and assisting communities throughout America’s South during a pandemic; discover how Rabbi Ed Rosenthal and university students around the world are transforming the marine environment into a classroom for teaching about the ethical care for the ocean, and how they will be performing a novel “reverse tashlich” this Rosh Hashanah; how Dr. Ron Wolfson, a prominent author and Jewish educator, together with his wife Susie, undertook a rare and unforgettable “Kidney Adventure”, and how Rabbi Elhanan Miller, a journalist, teacher and Founder of People of the Book, is building bridges between the Jewish and Arab world, in Arabic.

Meet Rabbi Mendel Kastel OAM, CEO of Jewish House in Sydney and National Director of Together for Humanity, who is working to defeat the scourge of hunger and homelessness; and get your hands dirty with Mitch Burnie, who will take us to Adamama – Australia’s first urban Jewish farm.  Dialogue with Rabbi Jonathan Keren-Black, Co-Founder of the Jewish Ecological Coalition (JECO) and a Board Member of the Australian Religious Response to Climate Change (ARRCC), who will describe how we can put “prayer into practice” and save our environment.

There is no admission cost for these seven inspiring one-hour, web conversations and you may attend all or just a few.  In the spirit of the season, Zoomers will be encouraged to support, in whatever amount they wish, any one or more of the charitable causes nominated by our extraordinary presenters.
